At Seed Co Malawi, we believe great seeds don’t just feed families, they build stronger communities. That belief drives not only our work but also our deep commitment to the communities that surround us.

It is in this spirit that we are proud to share a milestone in our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) journey: the donation of nutritional grain packs to *Raines Clinic*, a dedicated non-profit organisation based in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Raines Clinic has long been a beacon of hope for vulnerable populations in Nthandire, Lilongwe. Operating as a non-profit, the clinic works tirelessly to provide healthcare and nutritional support to those who need it most, often with limited resources and boundless determination.
When Seed Co Malawi approached Raines Clinic to explore how we could contribute meaningfully to their mission, the answer was clear: nutrition is foundational to health, and grain is foundational to nutrition.
The nutritional grain packs donated by Seed Co Malawi represent a direct investment in the wellbeing of the patients and beneficiaries served by Raines Clinic, individuals who are often at their most vulnerable. For the healthcare workers at Raines Clinic, knowing their patients have access to nutritious food means they can focus fully on clinical care.
As one of Africa’s leading seed companies, Seed Co Malawi occupies a unique position, we are intimately connected to the land, to farmers, and to the food systems that sustain Malawian communities. With that position comes a responsibility that goes beyond business performance.
Our CSR initiatives are guided by a simple conviction: “sustainable agriculture and healthy communities go hand in hand.” We cannot grow as a company in communities that are struggling. And we will not stand by when there are tangible ways we can make a difference.
This initiative is one of many steps in Seed Co Malawi’s ongoing CSR journey. We remain committed to identifying and supporting organisations and communities where our contributions can create lasting, meaningful change.
We are grateful to Raines Clinic for the extraordinary work they do every day, and we are honoured to play even a small role in amplifying their impact.
To the team at Raines Clinic, thank you for your dedication, your resilience, and your unwavering commitment to the people of Lilongwe. We stand with you.
Together, we grow.
