Tawanda’s unique blend of industry expertise and academic achievements positions him as a leading finance professional within Seed Co Malawi.
Mr. Andrew Barron is the Managing Director of Mbabzi Estate, a legendary agriculture production enterprise. He chairs the Audit Committee of SCM Board. Mr Barron sits on Boards of a number of key organisations in Malawi as non-executive board member, such as MPICO, Auction Holdings and Press Corporation.
Mr. Morgan Nzwere is the Group Chief Executive Officer for Seed Co Limited, whose main role is to provide leadership in order to position the company at the forefront of the industry. He is on SCM Board representing Seed Co Ltd Group. Mr. Nzwere joined Seed Co Limited in June 1998 as Group Finance Director. He worked for 8 years before leaving Seed Co Ltd in December 2006 to join CBH Holdings Limited as the Group Financial Consultant for three years. He re-joined Seed Co Limited in January 2010 as the Group Chief Executive Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree (honors) and a master’s in business leadership from the University of South Africa.
Mr. David Long is the Chairman of Seed Co Malawi Board and chairs SCM Remuneration Committee. He also sits on Seed Co Group Board. David is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, an Accredited Mediator and a graduate member of the International World Presidents Organization.
Mr Stewart Malata joined SCM board in May, 2016. He is current Chief Executive Officer of National Roads Fund. Mr Malata is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Malawi. Stewart served in a number of high level capacities in government and in the private sector in his career.
Mr. John Matorofa is the Group Finance Director and Company Secretary for Seed Co Ltd Group, with responsibility for all financial functions within the Group. He is a member of the Group Board of Directors and Group Executive Leadership Team. Mr. Matorofa joined Seed Co Ltd in 2004 as Finance Director of Seed Co Zimbabwe as well as running the Seed Co Group’s financial reporting functions. In 2007, he was transferred to head office to oversee the Group’s financial function. Mr. Matorofa is an Alternate Board member of Seed Co Malawi Ltd Board.
