Boyd is a Fellow of ACCA (2005), a dynamic individual, broadly experienced in financial management, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Organized, methodical, confident, independent and results oriented. An individual with unquestionable professional integrity, status and ability to function under pressure with limited resources.

Boyd joined Seed Co Malawi in 2017.

Tawanda Ncube

Finance Director

Tawanda Ncube has over 15 years of experience in audit, accounting, and advisory services. His impressive background includes working with prestigious firms such as Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and Baker Tilly. Tawanda holds a comprehensive portfolio of qualifications and accolades, including:

• Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST)
• Honours in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa (UNISA)
• Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe)
• Fellow Member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants

Andrew Barron

Non-Executive Chairman

Mr. Andrew Barron is the Managing Director of Mbabzi Estate, a legendary agriculture production enterprise. He chairs the Audit Committee of SCM Board. Mr Barron sits on Boards of a number of key organisations in Malawi as non-executive board member, such as MPICO, Auction Holdings and Press Corporation.

Morgan Nzwere

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Morgan Nzwere is the Group Chief Executive Officer for Seed Co Limited, whose main role is to provide leadership in order to position the company at the forefront of the industry. He is on SCM Board representing Seed Co Ltd Group. Mr. Nzwere joined Seed Co Limited in June 1998 as Group Finance Director. He worked for 8 years before leaving Seed Co Ltd in December 2006 to join CBH Holdings Limited as the Group Financial Consultant for three years. He re-joined Seed Co Limited in January 2010 as the Group Chief Executive Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree (honors) and a master’s in business leadership from the University of South Africa.

David Long

Non-Executive Director

Mr. David Long is the Chairman of Seed Co Malawi Board and chairs SCM Remuneration Committee. He also sits on Seed Co Group Board. David is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, an Accredited Mediator and a graduate member of the International World Presidents Organization.

Stewart Malata

Non-Executive Director/ Audit Committee Chairman

Mr Stewart Malata joined SCM board in May, 2016. He is current Chief Executive Officer of National Roads Fund. Mr Malata is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Malawi. Stewart served in a number of high level capacities in government and in the private sector in his career.
