Retirement of Group Chief Financial Officer
Please be advised that Mr. John Matorofa is taking early retirement from his role as Group Chief Financial Officer, effective 30 November 2024. I would like to extend my gratitude to John for his 20 years of dedicated service, during which the Group experienced significant expansion across Africa.

Appointment of Group Chief Financial Officer Designate
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Tineyi Chatiza as the Group Chief Financial Officer Designate immediately, and as the substantive Group Chief Financial Officer starting from 1 December 2024.

Tineyi joined Seed Co in 2018 as the Corporate Finance & Investments Manager within the Business Development function. In 2022, he was promoted to Head of Corporate Services and Company Secretary, where he assumed group responsibilities including financial planning, control and reporting, as well as governance. Prior to joining Seed Co, he worked in corporate finance, fund management and finance within the banking and fund management sectors.

Retirement of Group Production and Processing Director
Please be advised that Mr. Edgar Rupende is taking early retirement from his role as Group Production & Processing Director, effective 31 August 2024, on medical grounds. I would like to extend my gratitude to Edgar’s for his 26 years of dedicated service, during which the Group opened up several new production areas across Africa.

We wish Edgar a speedy recovery and all the best in his retirement and future endeavours.

Appointment of Calvin Fambisayi as Group Supply Chain Director
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Calvin Fambisayi as Group Supply Chain Director, effective 1 September 2024. He joined Seed Co in 2012 and prior to this appointment, he was the Group Business Development Director spearheading business development across Africa.

Apart from his business development role, Calvin Fambisayi was also in charge of Group Product Development, and Quality Management.

As Group Supply Chain Director, Calvin will be responsible for Group Production, Processing and Supply Chain Management.
