On the 2nd of August 2024, we were honored to have hosted His Excellency Mr.  Evariste Ndayishimiye the President of Burundi at the Seed Co Head Office in Lusaka West.

His visit was aimed at appreciating the key role that we play in seed production across Africa. His Excellency emphasized that Burundi needs seed support from Zambia and expressed his satisfaction with what Seed Co Zambia is capable of delivering.

The Seed Co Zambia Board Chairman, Mr. Chance Kabaghe, echoed this sentiment, noting that he was pleased with the visit and that we are proud to meet both local and international demands for seeds through our seed breeding and multiplication programs.

We are thrilled about the opportunity to expand into Burundi and look forward to making a positive impact.
