Samson Ruwisi is an Executive Board Member of Seed Co Botswana, Seed Co Mozambique, and Prime Seed Co International, the vegetable division of Seed Co Africa. Alongside his role as Head of CCU Markets, he concurrently serves as Group Head of Treasury for the Seed Co Group, where he oversees strategic structured investment initiatives and treasury operations. With more than two decades of experience in the banking and corporate sectors, Sam applies advanced academic credentials – including an MBA in Banking (University of London), an MPhil in International Business (GIBS), and completion of Yale University’s Global Business Leadership Programme – to drive organisational growth and resilience. He has successfully negotiated and implemented funding structures with international financing partners to support Seed Co’s financing and investment requirements across different jurisdictions in sub-Saharan Africa. His extensive involvement across diverse businesses has equipped him with expertise in navigating complex operational environments and cultural contexts. Sam also provides valuable insights into global economic trends and their implications for African economies, especially on subjects of money markets, capital markets and currencies.
Eric Kalaote is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with over 20 years of experience in financial leadership, currently serving as the Finance Executive at Seed Co International Limited where he played a key role in the company’s 2018 listing. His extensive career includes a significant tenure as Chief Accountant for Nafprop (Cash Bazaar Holdings), overseeing a diverse property portfolio, and early professional training at Kgalagadi Breweries. Eric specializes in strategic board reporting, the implementation of robust internal controls, and overseeing complex financial functions to optimize organizational performance. He is dedicated to upholding professional ethics and contributing to Botswana’s economic development.
Dialwa Kenatshele is an experienced Sales and Agronomy Manager at SeedCo Botswana, where they have spent over a decade focusing on customer retention and positive product experiences. Prior to this role, Dialwa served for over seven years with the Ministry of Agriculture in Botswana as an Agricultural Extension Officer and Agronomist. Their academic background includes a Master of Commerce in Strategic Marketing and a certification as a Globally Certified Customer Experience Practitioner. Dialwa identifies as an “activator, relator, and learner” who values stakeholder engagement, self-development, and food security
