Kenias Mafukidze is the next generation of leading voices in the C-suite with a depth of experience as a strategic thinker and savvy financial deal initiator and is currently a Non- Executive Board Member of Seed-Co Zimbabwe.
Kenias is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Media Holdings, Zimbabwe’s largest independent mainstream newspaper publisher and media house, and a Non-Executive Member of Fidelity Printers and Refiners a Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe subsidiary.
The executive is also the Founder and CEO of KM Advisory Services directing operational performance analysis for financially troubled companies and crafting sustainable turnaround strategies to restore viability.
Previously Kenias worked as the CEO of KM Insurance Company of Zimbabwe directing the organization’s financial activities to fund operations, manage investments and increase efficiencies.
He is the brains behind Southampton Asset Management Company, an innovative startup through which he cornered a 30% market share within the first 3 years in operation. From 2004 to 2014, Kenias was the Director of KM Financial Solutions, a financial inclusion vehicle focused on negotiating and extending farming input facilities to rural areas using their cattle as collateral.
Before that, he had a 3-year stint as Head of Finance and Company Secretary for Randalls Holdings Limited, coordinating all the the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities.
Kenias obtained his accounting qualification at the Institute of chartered accountants of Zimbabwe focusing on Accounting, Investment, and Audit before a 7-year stint with PriceWaterhouse as a chartered accountant.
He holds an MBA from the University of Manchester, with a Portfolio in Management & Mergers and Acquisitions. In addition, Kenias also holds an Honours Bachelor of Accounting and Science and a Bachelor of Accounting Science from UNISA.
