Solwezi, North-Western Province<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have officially opened our new Solwezi Depot, marking an important milestone in our commitment to bringing quality seed, agronomic support and agricultural services closer to farmers in North-Western Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening was a significant moment for us, bringing together traditional leaders, government representatives, agro-dealers, farmers, members of the media, and our management and staff to celebrate an investment that puts farmers and access to quality agricultural inputs at the heart of what we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were honoured to welcome Chief Kanyama, Chief Chibwika and Chieftainess Chikola, who spoke about the importance of access to the right seed and welcomed our presence in the province. Their support reflects the growing opportunities for farmers in North-Western Province and the importance of working together to strengthen agriculture in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the event, the Deputy Permanent Secretary for North-Western Province, Mr Luckson Mulumbi, welcomed our investment and emphasised the importance of quality, climate-smart seed, good farming practices and sound agronomic advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also cautioned farmers against counterfeit seed, urging them to remain vigilant when purchasing agricultural inputs. He emphasised that those dealing in counterfeit seed are breaking the law and will face the consequences. Sharing his own experience as a farmer, Mr Mulumbi noted that he farms with SeedCo seed and welcomed our presence in the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on behalf of our Board Chair, Board Director Mr Coilard Hamusimbi highlighted our confidence in the agricultural potential of North-Western Province and the importance of bringing quality inputs and technical support closer to farming communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Managing Director, Mrs Grace T. Bwanali, also shared remarks, reaffirming our commitment to supporting farmers and contributing to the continued development of agriculture in the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening also gave us an opportunity to celebrate our customers and agricultural partners through two of our key promotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We launched Reap Ama Rewards, our consumer promotion that rewards farmers for purchasing SeedCo seed starting from 10 kg. The promotion is one of the ways we show our appreciation to our customers and the farmers who continue to choose SeedCo as they grow their farms.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We also held the first Gulisani Mu Wiine draw, our agro-dealer and distributor promotion, recognising the important role our partners play in bringing quality SeedCo seed closer to farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening of our Solwezi Depot is more than the launch of a new location. It represents our continued investment in stronger agricultural communities, closer farmer support and greater access to the right seed and knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we expand our presence in North-Western Province, we look forward to working alongside farmers, agro-dealers, government and other agricultural stakeholders to support the growth of agriculture in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
