Subject: Job Advertisement – Seed Analyst (×1)

With reference to the above stated subject, Seed Co Zambia Limited wishes to fill the vacancy of Seed Analyst under Quality Assurance Department to be based in Lusaka, Zambia.

This position shall be responsible for:

• Undertaking seed sampling using ISTA methods
• Moisture content determination of submitted seed samples.
• Physical purity analysis – separating, analysing and classifying the different components of the seed working sample.
• Evaluation of planted seed samples for vigour and germination capacity in accordance
• Preservation of laboratory retention samples.
• Planning and coordination of the said activities as guided by the Senior Seed Analyst.
• ISO Standard Compliance – ensuring quality management systems are effectively

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of Diploma in Agriculture or Related Business field
• Member of Agriculture Institute of Zambia
• Valid SCCI Licence
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Word & Excel Conversant
