Seed Co marked Global Handwashing Day on 15 October 2021 at Machakos Primary School.

The function was graced by several other organisations in a bid to sensitise primary school children about the benefits of washing their hands with soap and water.

The event included performances from some teachers and students of the participating schools and a speech from the guest of honour. Students recited poems, and teachers were excited to join their students in some of the dancing competitions.  

Safety, health and environment being a core pillar at Seed Co, the team had the opportunity to share the same with members of society who were present at the school. This culminated into the donation of hand washing units, soap and buckets to the school.
